Written by Roaa Nassif and Emmanuel Kenga, Quench follows Ian, a young boy sent by his mother to fetch a glass of water from the dispenser. But every time he approaches it, he is transported to a new and increasingly bizarre location, encountering strange obstacles and familiar characters along the way—from the Scooby-Doo gang to Squidward. Playful, chaotic, and slightly uncanny, the film captures the bizarre feeling of being trapped inside a fever dream.

Hikayat Al Shib Shib is a playful documentary exploring how an ordinary slipper became one of the most recognisable symbols of discipline, fear, and humour in Arab households. Through personal stories, student interviews, and a dramatic true-crime-inspired visual style, the film examines the memories and cultural jokes surrounding the shib-shib, while questioning how its meaning has changed across generations. What begins as a funny shared experience becomes a wider reflection on family, upbringing, and the objects that quietly shape our childhoods.

Paranoid is a dialogue-free psychological horror short film that follows a young man whose deep-rooted fear of the dark begins to overwhelm him after a sudden power outage. Alone in his house, ordinary shadows and unfamiliar sounds transform into imagined threats, blurring the line between reality and his increasingly distorted perception. Through controlled camera movement, practical lighting, and an evolving shift from warmth to darkness, the film explores how fear can turn a familiar space into something hostile—and how the mind can become its own greatest threat.
